In this activity, we will create a beautiful flower crown with a spring-like appearance.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a polystyrene wreath
- green acrylic paint
- a brush
- fabric flowers
- plastic push pins
- birds on clips
- a wooden skewer
- a polystyrene attachment
- a hole punch
- a cutting mat
Step 1
Paint the polystyrene wreath with green acrylic paint and let it dry for about an hour.
Step 2
Select about 16 fabric flowers and then make a hole in the center of each using a punch (and a cutting mat to protect your work surface).
Tip: use the smallest diameter of the punch.
Step 3
Pin the flowers onto the styrofoam wreath using small colored plastic pins (safe for children).
Step 4
Pass a wooden rod through the polystyrene crown to create the bird perch.
Step 5
Attach the birds to the wooden stick using the clothespins.
Step 6
Plant a hook at the top of the crown so that it can be hung in the house.
