Materials
To make a pretty mushroom you need:
- a small white cardboard plate
- a wooden heart
- a kraft cardboard roll
- round stickers
- eye stickers
- solid tempera paint sticks
- a pair of scissors
- a hot glue gun
Step 1
Cut the cardboard plate in half, turn it over, and color it with a solid tempera paint stick to create the mushroom cap.
Step 2
Decorate the wooden heart with a brown tempera stick to create the mushroom stem.
Tip: solid tempera is very opaque and dries almost instantly!
Step 3
Glue the mushroom cap onto the cardboard roll with a hot glue gun for effective and durable adhesion.
Step 4
Decorate the cap with colorful round stickers and glue 2 eye stickers on the cardboard roll.
Tip: cut a round sticker in half to create a cute smile.
Step 5
Glue the mushroom onto the wooden heart to create a stable base.
Step 6
Glue 2 small squirrels onto the wooden base to add a nice touch of tenderness to your creation.
