How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a flower coloring template (click here)
- felt-tip pens
- a plastic tray
- a pair of scissors
- some water
Step 2
Cut out the flowers, making sure to cut the petals up to the circle located in the center of the flower.
Step 3
Fill a tray or a dish with water.
Step 4
Fold the petals of the flower towards the center, but without creasing.
Tip : to allow the petals to open more easily in water, avoid making a crease.
Step 5
Place the folded flower on the surface of the water.
Step 6
The water will seep into the fibers of the paper, causing them to swell until the petals of the flower unfold to achieve this blooming effect.
Step 7
After a few seconds, the flower reveals its beautiful colors.
