Here is a symbolic and touching gift for parents' day: a beautiful frame to make with your baby's (or child's up to 3 years old) footprint, accompanied by a colorful and personalized message!

Using an ink pad, children place their little footprint on a blank sheet of paper. Add letter stickers to write the child's name, a lovely message, and some colorful hearts for an extra touch of love! Everything is slipped into a transparent plastic frame, perfect for proudly displaying this gift at home or in the office.

Materials

To carry out this activity, you will need:

- a transparent plastic frame

- a large black stamp pad

- a thick white card

- alphabet stickers

- heart stickers

- a pair of scissors

Step 1

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 13 x 18 cm.

Step 2

Apply the baby foot onto the black ink pad.

Note: with this ink pad, you can easily create footprints of children from birth to 3 years old.

Step 3

Press your foot on the sturdy card to make the imprint.

Then wash the ink off your foot with a cloth and soapy water.

Step 4

Note: Depending on the size of the children's feet, you can print the footprints either vertically or horizontally.

Step 5

Decorate the card with alphabet stickers to write the child's name and/or a sweet message. Here, we chose the message "Following in Dad's footsteps" to give a nice nod to the footprint.

Note: the message can, of course, be adapted for moms.

Step 6

Complete the decoration with heart stickers.

Step 7

Slide the card into a transparent plastic frame to display this little masterpiece while protecting it. This way, you can keep this lovely souvenir for as long as possible!
