How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a stained glass panel, you will need:
- a plexiglass support with a wooden base (15 x 15 cm)
- black outline paint
- permanent markers
- letter stickers
- a repositionable glue roller
- a heart template to print (click here)
Step 1
Print a heart template (click here) and then place 2 lines of repositionable glue at the top and bottom of the pattern.
The glue will hold the support in place so you can trace the lines accurately.
Step 2
Without removing the protective films, stick the square plexiglass support onto the model.
Step 3
Remove the protective film from the top.
Step 4
Draw the outline of the design with special black outline paint.
Then let the paint dry for a few hours.
Outline paint maintains a 3D effect and will create edges to define the areas to color.
Step 5
Color the different areas using colored permanent markers to create a beautiful stained glass effect.
Once everything is colored, you can peel the backing off the template and then remove the protective film from the undecorated side.
Step 6
Customize the wooden base using letter stickers with a scrabble effect.
Step 7
Place the acrylic support in the slot of the wooden base.
