Friendship Keychains

Form a lark's head knot around the ring:

1-You fold your ribbon in half.

2-You pull the loop formed through the ring.

3-You pass both ends of the ribbon inside the loop and tighten.

Optionally: you can use ribbons, but also rat-tail cord of Ø 1mm for it to easily pass through your beads. 

It's time to get artistic! Choose your favorite beads and gently slide them onto the ribbon. You can mix all sorts of shades or create a lovely rainbow to make your keychain unique.

Little tip: If the end of the cord frays a bit, you can ask an adult to put a tiny piece of tape on the end to make a stiff point. It will be easier to thread the beads!

Once all your pretty beads are properly in place, you need to close the barrier so that they don't escape! Tie a tight knot just after the last bead.

Champion's tip: Make a second knot over the first one. A double knot is twice as strong, and it's worth twice as much as a single one!

Cut! To finish beautifully, trim the small end of the ribbon that sticks out just after your double knot.

Caution fingers: Scissors can cut sharply! Don't hesitate to ask an adult for help to do this step safely.
