Materials

To carry out this activity, you will need:

- an animal balloon kit (comprising 8 colored balloons + animal shapes in thick cardstock + adhesive foam squares)

- a balloon pump

- balloon sticks

Step 1

Place a balloon on the pump nozzle and then inflate the balloon.

Note: the pump will allow children to inflate the balloons very easily and effortlessly!

Step 2

Remove the balloon from the pump nozzle and then tie a knot.

Step 3

Select an animal and then detach the cardstock elements from the sheet.

Step 4

Place a square of adhesive foam behind each shape to easily stick them onto the balloon.

Step 5

Glue all the sturdy cardstock pieces onto the balloon to create a funny and colorful animal.

Step 6

To allow children to take their animal for a walk, you can place the balloon on a stick by inserting the knot into the designated slot for this purpose.
