Funny Bird with a Paper Plate

To make a funny bird, you'll need:

- a white cardboard plate

- sheets of paper (25 x 35 cm - 130 g/m²)

- googly eyes Ø 1.8 and 2.5 cm

- petal stickers

- a pair of scissors

- a pencil

- a glue stick

- a craft knife

Cut out a circle with a diameter of 8 cm from a sheet of colored paper to create the bird's head.

TIP: use a mug to trace the circle on the paper.

Cut a trapezoid shape from another sheet of color and then make fringes using the pair of scissors.

Roll the small strips of paper using a toothpick (or skewer) to give volume to the bird's tuft.

Cut out the bird's beak from a sheet of paper.

Glue the previously cut shapes and 2 googly eyes onto the paper circle.

Fold the cardboard plate in half and then make an incision of about 3 cm x 5 mm with a precision cutter. This will allow us to insert the wings of the bird.

Fold the plate and then round one end with a pair of scissors.

Unfold the plate, cut about 5 small strips as shown in the picture, and then roll them to create the bird's tail.

Insert the paper wings into the slot.

Glue the bird's head onto the "rounded" part of the plate.

Decorate the body of the bird using pretty colored stickers.
