Bunny Bottom in a Flower Pot
Discover a super cute Easter craft to do with kids.
With a flower pot, a polystyrene ball, and a few accessories, we will create a lovely Easter decoration representing a bunny's (bottom) in a flower pot.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create this Easter decoration you will need:
- a terracotta pot (Ø 8 cm x h. 7 cm)
- acrylic paint and a brush
- wooden sticks of 11.4 cm
- fabric flowers
- plastic buttons
- 2 sheets of paper (green and white)
- white adhesive lace
- a fabric bow
- a polystyrene ball Ø 7 cm
- a pom-pom
- a pair of scissors
- adhesive gel dots (glue dots)
Step 1
Paint the terracotta pot with acrylic paint.
Step 2
Stick a colored fabric flower to the top of an 11 cm wooden stick using an adhesive dot.
Glue a colored button to the center of the flower with an adhesive dot.
You can make 3 flowers by varying the colors.
Step 3
Stick the 3 flowers into the terracotta pot using adhesive dots.
Step 4
Cut a strip of green paper approximately 10 x 8 cm, then cut small points with a pair of scissors.
Step 5
Stick the green paper strip into the flower pot with adhesive dots.
Step 6
For a nice decoration, glue a strip of adhesive lace around the flowerpot.
Step 7
To give an even cuter look to your creation, stick on a pretty fabric bow with an adhesive dot.
Step 8
Place a 7 cm diameter polystyrene ball inside the flower pot to represent the rabbit's "bottom".
Step 9
To represent the rabbit's tail, glue a pom-pom onto the styrofoam ball.
Step 10
Cut 2 rabbit legs from a sturdy white card and glue them onto the styrofoam ball with adhesive dots.
