Create beautiful light decorations for Halloween using plastic cups!
A fun craft for children who will enjoy cutting and gluing tissue paper to create funny Halloween monsters. Stick on foam and googly eyes to finish off pumpkins and other monsters, and add an electric candle underneath the cups to make them glow in the dark.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To create a Halloween lantern, you will need:
- a translucent plastic cup
- tissue paper
- glue varnish and a brush
- a pair of scissors
- black soft rubber and/or black cardstock
- glue or double-sided adhesive tape
Etape 2.
Cut out about thirty small squares of tissue paper in the color of your choice (orange for a pumpkin, green for a monster, white for a ghost, ...).
Etape 3.
Use varnish to glue the squares of tissue paper all over the surface of the cup with a medium or large brush.
Etape 4.
Once the surface of the cup is fully covered, allow the varnish to dry for about an hour.
Next, we will work with the cup placed upside down.
Etape 5.
Cut the monster's hair using soft rubber or black cardstock.
Etape 6.
Stick the monster's hair onto the cup using double-sided tape or strong white glue.
Etape 7.
Glue 2 googly eyes Ø 2.5 cm.
Etape 8.
Cut out a mouth and a nose from soft rubber or thick cardboard and then glue them onto the cup to complete your creation.
Etape 9.
Once night falls, place your monster cup over an electric candle...
Etape 10.
The transparency of tissue paper combined with the opacity of foam rubber creates beautiful light effects.
Etape 11.
Complete your collection with a pumpkin, a ghost, or any other creature...
