How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a hedgehog, you will need:
- a white cardboard plate
- colored paper sheets (21 x 29.7 cm - 300 g/m²)
- two movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a brown pom-pom
- a paper bow
- flesh-colored and brown paint + a brush
- a pair of scissors
- a paper cutter
- white glue
- a black paint marker
Step 1:
To start, paint the cardboard plate with acrylic paint: the center of the plate flesh color and the contour brown color.
Let everything dry for about 20 minutes.
Step 2:
Cut 21 strips of 5.5 cm x 1.5 cm from sheets of paper in different colors.
Tip: use a paper cutter for quick and even cutting!
Step 3:
Turn the cardboard plate over, then using white glue, stick the strips on about 70% of the edge of the plate.
Step 4 :
From a sheet of brown paper, cut out 4 shapes of "legs" approximately 7 cm long.
Step 5:
Still at the back of the plate, glue two of the four legs in the space without a strip.
Step 6:
Turn the cardboard plate over again, then glue the remaining two legs like this.
Step 7:
Then glue two wobbly eyes Ø 2.5 cm, a brown pom-pom, and draw a mouth with a black paint marker.
Step 8:
And finally, glue a paper bow to the corner of the hedgehog's head.
