Matchbox Monsters
Create these little monster heads using matchboxes and colored paper. A fun and easy activity for kids to enjoy during Halloween!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
The Materials
You will need:
- matchboxes
- acrylic paint + brushes
- colored papers
- wiggle eyes (1x18mm and 3x 1mm)
- 1 pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the boxes: 1 green and 1 orange. And the inside of both boxes in red (to make the mouths of our monsters).
Step 2
Cut out shapes from the colored sheets (pink and yellow) that will be used to make the ears, horns, nose, and teeth.
Glue each shape with a bit of adhesive, then finish by sticking on the googly eye!
Step 3
Cut out the colored sheets (green and yellow) the shapes that will be used to make the ears, the horns, the nose, the beard, and the teeth.
Glue each shape with a bit of adhesive, then finish by sticking on the 3 googly eyes!
