How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create this board, you will need:
- a thick cardstock frame with a trompe l'oeil effect
- a thick white cardstock (A4)
- a wooden hand
- solid gouache sticks
- heart stickers
- newspaper letter stickers
- a strong glue stick
Step 1
Glue a trompe l'oeil frame onto a strong white card.
Step 2
Color the wooden hand with a solid gouache stick.
Practical, solid gouache sticks are highly pigmented and work well on both paper and wood!
Step 3
Glue the wooden hand in the center of the board.
Here we chose the brown hand to symbolize a tree.
Step 4
Decorate the top of the board with heart stickers to create the "foliage" of the tree.
Step 5
Customize the bottom of the board with letter stickers from the newspaper.
