Paper Frog Puppet

To make a frog puppet you need:

- Colored A4 paper sheets

- A pair of scissors

- A glue stick

- A black marker

Layer a green sheet of paper over a red sheet of paper.

Cut out a circle with a diameter of 21 cm from these two sheets of paper.

Stacking allows for obtaining 2 identical circles.

From the green sheet of paper, cut out the outline of the eyes (approximately 7 cm long and 4 cm wide).

Cut out two circles of Ø 3 cm from a white sheet and draw the pupils with black felt pen. 

Attach the two circles like this.

Fold the green circle in half and fold the base of the eyes to create a tab.

Next, glue the eyes onto the folded circle.

Cut out four legs from a sheet of green paper.

Two legs measuring 11 cm in length and two others measuring 14 cm in length.

Glue the flaps onto the still unused part of the circle, placing the smallest flaps on the sides.

Cut a strip of paper measuring 3 cm x 23 cm from a sheet of red paper.

Wrap this strip of paper with your black marker for about 12 cm.

Glue the paper strip like this.

Cut your frog in half following the fold of the green circle.

Glue the 2 green parts onto the red paper circle folded in half (cut in the second step)

Warning: Only apply glue on the rounded edges so that you can later pass your hand inside.

Check now that you can put your hand inside to make your puppet talk.
