In this creative Christmas activity, we will show you how to make beautiful snowmen in just 15 minutes!
An easy and fun craft to do with children for the arrival of winter and the holiday season.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this funny snowman, you will need:
- a half polystyrene ball (Ø 9.5 cm)
- a small polystyrene cone (11 cm)
- a small felt hat
- 2 movable eyes Ø 1.8 cm
- 2 brown pipe cleaners
- plastic buttons
- a garland that looks like a pine branch
- markers
- adhesive dots
- a wooden skewer
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Create the snowman's face by decorating the bottom of the small polystyrene cone with movable eyes and markers.
Step 2
Place a small felt hat on the polystyrene cone.
Step 3
Insert the cone onto a wooden stick and cut it, leaving about 4 cm of the stem protruding.
Step 4
Attach the cone to the half-ball to assemble the snowman.
Step 5
Make the arms of the snowman using brown chenille stems.
To create the "fingers", simply wrap a small piece of chenille around another piece of chenille.
Step 6
Stick 3 buttons on the snowman's belly using adhesive dots.
Step 7
Cut a piece of artificial garland approximately 40 cm long, then twist the 2 ends together to create a small wreath.
Step 8
Place the snowman in the center of the crown for a lovely finish!
