How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a sign, you need:
– A square wooden board measuring 30 × 30 cm
– Two rectangular wooden supports measuring 12.5 × 8.5 cm
– Two round wooden supports with a diameter of 8.5 cm
– Wooden letters
– Blackboard paint
– A foam roller
– A chalk marker
– Acrylic markers
– "School" stickers
– Wood glue
– A protective mat
Step 1:
To begin, paint the rectangular and round wooden surfaces with chalk paint.
Allow to dry for 12 hours.
Step 2:
Color the letters of the child's name using the colors of your choice with acrylic markers.
Step 3:
Glue the letters with wood glue at the top of the square wooden base.
Step 4:
Once dry, glue the different bases onto the square wooden base using wood glue, as shown in the picture.
Step 5:
Write with acrylic markers the information you want to add to the board.
Here, we have written: "I enter...", "I have...", "Today is...", "I would like to be..."
You can add other information, such as their size, favorite colors, favorite sport, etc.
Step 6:
Add stickers to decorate.
Step 7:
Now add the information with the chalk marker, and don't forget to take a nice photo before heading to school!
TIP: The chalk marker is erasable with a damp cloth. This way, you can reuse the sign each year.
