How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make this keychain you will need:
- a transparent plastic heart keychain
- waxed cotton cord
- alphabet beads
- pastel-colored round beads
- pastel-colored pom-pom rings
- a photo
- a pencil
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Cut a piece of waxed cotton measuring 30 cm, fold it in half, and then make a loop as shown in the photo.
Make a second loop above the first to create a larger knot that will hold the beads in place.
Step 2
Thread colorful beads and letter beads onto the 2 pieces of cord.
Step 3
Attach a pompom to the ring using a double knot to secure all the beads.
Cut the excess cord with a pair of scissors.
Step 4
Make a second "suspension" to complete the personalized message.
Step 5
Detach the central part of the heart keychain, place it on the photo, and then trace the outline.
Note: we used a printed photo measuring 4.5 x 4.5 cm.
Step 6
Cut the photo and then place it inside the plastic keychain.
Step 7
Hang the bead decorations on the key ring.
