Pom Pom Animals

To create pom pom animals, you will need:

- A pom pom maker

- Balls of wool (coordinating colors)

- Pom poms (assorted sizes and colors)

- Movable eyes Ø 25 mm

- Glue stick / Hasulith glue

- A pair of scissors

For this activity, we recommend using our pompom tools, which are very handy for creating pompoms in no time! Moreover, they will allow you to make pompoms in 4 different diameters.

Get a pompom tool in the diameter of your choice (1 tool = 4 elements). Bring two elements (one of each type) close together and hold them in one hand...

... with the other hand, wrap the yarn around the 2 elements, making sure to cover the entire surface.
The more yarn there is, the fluffier the pompom will be.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the 2 remaining items.

Next, fit the two components together to form a round set.

Insert the tip of the scissors into the slot between the two components and cut the wool around the entire perimeter.

You can also cut the wool using a craft knife.

This is the result obtained once the wool has been cut.

Cut a length of yarn about 20 to 30 cm long and thread it through the slot of the tool.

Wrap around and finish with a knot, pulling tight.

Unravel everything... your pompon is created!

To attach the pompon, tie a knot with the 2 threads that stick out.

Glue small colored pom poms and googly eyes using strong white glue to create the animal's face.

Let it dry for a few minutes.

Tie together the 2 threads that stick out so you can hang your creation.

Vary the sizes and colors to create adorable animals, each cuter than the last!
