In this activity, children will transform a slate into a beautiful gift for Mother's Day using felt flowers, rhinestones, and a lovely photo.
A simple creative activity for children from the age of 3.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity you will need:
- a chalkboard with a wooden frame
- wooden scrabble letters
- felt flower stickers
- masking tape
- adhesive cabochon strips
- a white marker
- a tube of glue
- a photo
Step 1
Stick a nice photo onto the slate.
Step 2
Decorate the edge of the photo using adhesive cabochons.
Step 3
Write a message using a white marker.
Step 4
Decorate the bottom of the frame with 2 strips of colored masking tape.
The masking tape will help highlight the wooden letters that will be glued in the next step!
Step 5
Glue wooden letters to form a name.
Step 6
Assemble and glue felt flowers onto the frame of the slate.
