How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a smartphone stand, you will need:
- a wooden board
- 6 corks
- a square notepad
- a wooden clothespin (7 cm)
- solid gouache sticks
- star stickers
- a pencil
- a repositionable glue roller
- wood glue (or a glue gun)
Step 1
Decorate the wooden board with a solid gouache stick.
Note: the solid gouache is very opaque, easy to use, and dries almost instantly!
Step 2
Glue the paper block about 5 mm from the bottom edge of the board.
Note: we used repositionable glue to attach the paper block, making it easier to remove when it needs to be replaced!
Step 3
Glue 2 caps horizontally above the paper block using wood glue.
Tip: For instant adhesion, you can use a glue gun!
Step 4
Glue 4 caps vertically at the top of the board.
The cork caps will hold the mobile phone on the stand!
Step 5
Glue a clothespin as shown in the photo. This will be used to hold a pencil, making it convenient for taking notes!
Step 6
Decorate the cork stoppers with star stickers to add some color to the smartphone holder!
Step 7
Place the pencil in the clothespin to complete your creation!
Step 8
A practical item to place on your desk!
