Snail with Paper Plates
With two paper plates, some caterpillars, and a few colored stickers, children from 3 years old will be able to create a fun snail in the colors of autumn!
This easy autumn craft fosters creativity and fine motor skills while helping children discover the richness of leaf shapes.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a lovely snail, you will need:
- 2 cardboard plates (Ø 15 cm)
- one brown caterpillar
- leaf-shaped stickers
- leaf-shaped kraft paper stickers
- fancy eye stickers
- brown paint + a brush.
- a white paint marker
- a stapler
Step 1:
To start, paint a small plate with brown paint.
Then let it dry for 20 minutes.
Step 2:
Fold the painted plate in half to create the body of the snail
Step 3:
Attach another white plate to the folded brown plate using a stapler. The white plate will serve as the shell.
Step 4:
Decorate the shell by sticking on foam stickers and stickers representing tree leaves to create an autumn decor.
Step 5:
Fold a caterpillar in half and staple it to the back of the brown plate to form the antennas.
Step 6:
Gently wrap the two ends of the pipe cleaner around the white paint marker to give them a spiral shape and a fun effect.
Step 7:
Stick two googly eyes on the snail's head.
Step 8:
And finally, draw a nice smile with the white marker to bring the snail to life.
