Stained Glass Lantern
In this activity, we will transform a simple glass jar into a beautiful stained glass lantern using paint and some lovely accessories.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a stained glass lantern, you will need:
- a glass jar with a lid
- black dimensional paint
- stained glass paint
- a paintbrush
- a satin ribbon
- an LED candle
- a pair of scissors
- patterned cardstock
- a round hole punch Ø 5 cm
- a multi-surface glue stick
Step 1
Draw the outline of the "stained glass" with the black relief outline and let it dry for several hours.
Step 2
Paint the interior of the areas with stained glass paint.
Step 3
To decorate the lid we will use a pretty patterned paper.
For this, cut out a 5 cm Ø circle with a hole punch and then glue it onto the lid of the glass jar.
Step 4
Decorate the pot (at the neck) with a nice satin ribbon.
Step 5
Place a LED candle inside the pot.
