Create a beautiful table centerpiece with LED candles. Here, with a few rolls of cardboard, we made a centerpiece that looks like taper candles, imitating melted wax drips with a glue gun. A fun optical illusion that's very easy to make!

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Prepare the candle base
Using adhesive tape, like masking tape, create a base inside each roll to place an LED candle. Measure the height of it so that the base of the flame is at the same level as the end of the roll.
To create different sizes of candles, assemble rolls together with masking tape.
Cover the rolls
Once your 5 candle bases are prepared, take white paper to cover each roll.
Create the wax effect
Plug in the glue gun and let the glue flow down from the top of each roll to imitate the effect of melted wax.
Finishing the trompe l'oeil
Wait for the glue to cool down (about 15 minutes), then apply white acrylic paint with a brush. This way, the glue will perfectly mimic the appearance of melted wax.
Then assemble the 5 rolls on a tray and place the LED candles in each roll.
