Materials
To make a frog, you will need:
- 1 foam half-ball (Ø 10 cm)
- 2 foam half-balls (Ø 4 cm)
- a small white cardboard plate
- acrylic paint (blue and green)
- a paintbrush
- a sheet of red paper
- adhesive rhinestones
- a black marker
- adhesive dots
- a wooden skewer
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the cardboard plate blue and the large polystyrene half-ball with green paint.
Allow to dry for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 2
Glue the green half-sphere to the center of the plate using adhesive dots, then attach the two small polystyrene balls to create the frog's eyes.
Draw the frog's eyes and nostrils with a black marker.
Step 3
Cut a strip of red paper measuring about 1.5 x 15 cm and then wrap it around a pencil to create the frog's tongue.
Step 4
Create a slit in the green half-ball using a cutter or the blade of a pair of scissors, then insert the red paper tab into the polystyrene.
Step 5
Decorate the edge of the plate with adhesive gems to add lovely colors and sparkle to your creation.
Step 6
Add the finishing touch by gluing a small wooden bee onto the frog's tongue.
