FIMO paste is a polymer clay that hardens when baked. Easy to handle and very fine, it offers great creative freedom: modeling, cutting, smoothing, rolling, gluing, painting, and more. The colors can be mixed together to create new shades. Like all modeling clays, FIMO pastes are worked with fingers, rollers, spatulas, cutters, and other modeling tools.
The essential properties of FIMO pastes compared to traditional modeling clay are their durability (which is acquired after baking) and their finesse, which makes them the ideal choice for making jewelry or figurines.
FIMO pastes come in several ranges: the "Soft" pastes are the classic colors, the "Effect" pastes include those with a specific color effect: translucent effect (which occurs after baking), glittery or pearlescent effects, pastel colors, neon effect (the pastes become fluorescent under blue light), and finally the "leather" range which provides a leather effect with the unique property that this paste remains flexible even after baking.
Instructions for use:
- After molding your object, place it on greaseproof paper and bake it for about 30 minutes at 110°C.
- Once baking is complete, allow it to cool for 1 hour before varnishing your creation.
All FIMO pastes are suitable for children from 8 years old.
