This fixative allows you to set pastels and charcoal on your papers. Like chalk, charcoal and dry pastels are porous materials that fade over time, often due to friction. Thanks to this fixative, which acts like hairspray, it locks the pigments in place on the surface.
Usage Tip: apply a few sprays to the surface of the drawing, without extending them to ensure an even application. Upon application and even after the fixative dries, the colors will slightly darken (due to the agglomeration of pigments); this effect is permanent.
