3D Origami Christmas Tree Card

To create a 3D origami Christmas tree card (2 folds - size 10 x 15 cm), you will need:

- a strong white cardstock 300 g/m² size A4

- metallic or patterned paper sheets

- a self-adhesive glittery rubber star sticker

- a pair of scissors

- a ruler and a pencil

- a stick of white glue

Cut the white thick card (A4 format) in half.

Fold one of the two cut parts in half to create a 10 x 15 cm card with two flaps.

Take 5 squares of metallic paper 10 x 10 cm in the colors of your choice. For these 5 squares, trim the edges of 4 squares to achieve the following dimensions:

- square n°1: 10 x 10 cm

- square n°2: 8.5 x 8.5 cm

- square n°3: 7 x 7 cm

- square n°4: 5.5 x 5.5 cm

- square n°5: 4 x 4 cm

Here is the simple folding technique that will allow you to create the tree.

Take a square of metallic paper and fold it in half.

Fold one side in such a way that the tip of the rectangle reaches the center of the opposite side (the folded part forms a triangle).

Make the same fold on the other side to create a triangle.

Fold the other 4 squares of metallic paper in the same way.

Glue the triangles onto the card using a simple stick of white glue, from the smallest to the largest, in such a way that they overlap.

Once the Christmas tree is glued, add a star to the top.

To give your tree volume, simply separate the flaps that make up each triangle.

All that's left to do is write your wishes inside the card and then give it as a gift.
