During this Valentine's craft activity, your children will be able to create beautiful marbled effect cards using shaving foam and ink.
By making a marbled heart, each child explores color mixing before adhering it to a kraft paper card for their creation and then personalizes it with letter stickers.

This easy activity allows children to discover new textures and experiment with an original creative technique while developing their imagination.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a card, you will need:
- a heart template to print here
- kraft paper
- letter stickers from a magazine
- shaving foam
- drawing inks + pipettes
- a squeegee
- a PVC tray
- a pair of scissors
- a wooden skewer
- a plastic protective mat
- a glue stick
Step 2:
Place shaving foam in a PVC tray.
Step 3:
Using a pipette, add a few drops of ink in the colors of your choice to the shaving foam.
Step 4:
Take a wooden skewer and draw random shapes to mix the ink with the shaving foam and achieve a marbled effect.
Step 5:
Dip the heart into the shaving foam, making sure to fully immerse the entire sheet for an even and nice result.
Step 6:
Remove the template from the shaving foam, then use a squeegee to remove the excess paint.
Step 7:
Fold the kraft paper in half to create the card, and glue the marbled heart onto the front of the card once it is completely dry.
Step 8:
Stick letter stickers to write "Valentine's Day".
Step 9:
Finally, write a nice word or poem inside the card.
