Materials:
To make a bouquet of flowers, you will need:
- A colored sheet
- A thick black and white cardboard frame
- Pom poms
- Green pipe cleaners
- A pair of scissors
- Heart-shaped stickers
- A lace paper doily
- Watercolor letter stickers
- Liquid glue
Step 1:
To begin, fold the edges of the lace paper doily.
Step 2:
Apply glue to the previously folded edges, then stick the placemat onto the sheet, leaving space for the stickers to be added in the next steps.
Step 3:
Cut the green chenilles to the length of your choice to create the stems of the flowers and insert them into the doily.
Tip: Cut at different lengths to create more contrast between the flowers.
Step 4:
At the end of the green caterpillars, stick the pom-poms using liquid glue to create the flowers.
Step 5:
Using the letter stickers, write "Happy birthday" at the bottom of the placemat.
