For your kids' Halloween activities, decorate a simple square wooden board into a 3D Halloween board featuring a funny vampire.
Using a half foam ball and a foam disc, children can create a 3D vampire, decorating it with googly eyes, a large satin bow, and black pipe cleaners for hair.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a lovely vampire picture, you will need:
- a square wooden board (18 x 18 cm)
- a half foam ball Ø 9.5 cm
- a foam disc Ø 8 cm
- bat stickers
- a large satin bow
- 2 moving eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- black pipe cleaners
- a sheet of thick red paper
- blue and black acrylic paint + a brush
- black and white paint markers
- a pair of scissors
- a glue gun
Step 1:
Paint the polystyrene half-sphere blue and the disc black.
Then let it dry for about 30 minutes.
Step 2:
Cut out a trapezoid shape of approximately 16 x 9 cm from a sheet of thick red paper
Step 3:
Using a glue gun, assemble the elements on the square wooden support. Start by gluing the trapezoid, then add the disc and the half-sphere, as shown in the photo.
Step 4:
Cut the black pipe cleaners in half, then wrap them around a pencil to create small "springs".
Step 5:
Insert the rolled chenilles into the polystyrene to create the vampire's hair.
Step 6:
Insert two halves of a black caterpillar into the polystyrene to form the vampire's arms.
Step 7:
Glue the two movable eyes onto the large half-ball and a satin bow onto the disk using a glue gun.
Step 8:
Add bat stickers to the wooden base for decoration.
Step 9:
Finish by drawing a smile with a black marker and two sharp teeth using the white marker.
