Materials
To make a pumpkin candle holder, you will need:
- a plastic jar with a lid
- orange tissue paper
- glue varnish and a brush
- a black sturdy card
- a green caterpillar
- a powerful LED candle
- a glue gun
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Cut approximately 50 squares of orange tissue paper measuring 4 x 4 cm.
Step 2
Apply decoupage glue to the surface of the jar with a brush, then stick on the squares of tissue paper. Apply another layer of decoupage glue over each glued paper square.
Once the surface is completely covered, allow to dry for a few hours.
Step 3
Cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth of the pumpkin from a sturdy black card.
Step 4
Glue the paper elements onto the jar with the glue gun.
Step 5
Wrap a green caterpillar around a pen to create a "spring".
This will allow us to create the pumpkin's tail.
Step 6
Glue the pumpkin stem onto the jar using the glue gun.
Step 7
Place a powerful LED candle in the lid, close the jar, and turn off the lights to admire the lantern glowing in the dark.
