How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To make a spider candy basket, you will need:
- 2 white cardboard plates
- 2 polystyrene balls Ø 5 cm
- 8 black chenille stems 30 cm
- about 50 cm of black satin cord
- black acrylic paint and a brush
- POSCA markers
- strong white glue
- a stapler
- a hole punch
Etape 2.
Stack 2 plates and then cut them in half using a pair of scissors.
Etape 3.
Paint 2 identical half-plates with black acrylic paint.
Etape 4.
Using strong white glue, stick 2 polystyrene balls with a 5 cm diameter onto a painted half-plate.
Etape 5.
Using a black paint marker, draw the spider's eyes on the polystyrene balls, then draw the spider's mouth on the plate with a white paint marker.
Etape 6.
Place the 2 painted half-plates "back to back"...
Etape 7.
... then staple them together using a stapler.
Etape 8.
Make 4 holes on each side of the spider to attach its 8 legs.
Etape 9.
Attach a black pipe cleaner in each hole to create the spider's legs.
Shorten the legs with a pair of scissors if needed.
Etape 10.
Using the hole punch, make 2 holes at both ends of the plate so that you can attach a cord to carry the basket.
Etape 11.
The candy basket is finished!
Etape 12.
This spider basket will be very useful for collecting candy on Halloween night.
