With modeling clay and pretty faceted beads, children will enjoy creating a base in which they will insert a vase that can hold a beautiful flower or even a small bouquet of dried flowers.
An easy creative activity, accessible from the age of 3, that will allow them to make an original and adorable gift for Mother's Day!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To create a lovely flower vase for Mother's Day, you will need:
- a plastic flower vase
- white modeling clay
- faceted beads
- 3D butterflies
- gel adhesive dots
- a crafting mat
Step 1
Take about 250 g of white modeling dough, make a ball, and then flatten the base by lightly pressing it on the modeling mat.
The modeling dough will be used to create the base of the flower holder.
Step 2
Push the plastic vase into the modeling dough base.
Step 3
Push faceted beads into the modeling dough to create a colorful and dazzling base.
Step 4
Stick a 3D butterfly onto the flower holder using a glue dot.
Step 5
Add dried flowers or a freshly cut flower with a little water to the vase before giving this lovely gift to mom!

Nous avons adoré cette activité !! Sur le site il disent dès 3 ans mais ici je l’ai fait avec des plus petits ( 23 23 22 et 18 mois) j’ai moi même créer la base du socle avec la pâte et ils ont « juste » enfoncer les perles et strass ce qui leur a demander bcp de dextérité et leur a pris un certains temps pour celle de 18 mois j’ai juste dû renfoncer plus profondément les perles. Ils ont ensuite choisi eux même le papillon qu’il en voulu coller :)
