Carbon Paper Technique
Decorate any surface of your choice without needing to draw; it's possible with carbon paper!
In this tutorial, we will show you how to decorate wooden supports using the carbon paper technique. We have selected some templates to trace, but you can choose your own designs (from a book, online, etc.).
How does carbon paper work? It is commonly used for making copies, sketches, and duplicating drawings. A sheet of carbon paper consists of 2 layers: the top (slightly glossy texture, the side where you write), and the bottom coated with ink (where you place the paper that you will draw on).
You place a template on the carbon paper, and a blank sheet underneath it. When you write or draw on the upper sheet, the pressure from the tool (pen, pencil, etc.) presses down on the carbon paper. This pressure causes the pigment from the coated layer to transfer onto the lower sheet, creating an exact copy of what is written or drawn.
Below the main photo, find 3 templates to print: 1 template for the frame with blue flowers, and 2 templates for the pencil holders.
