Materials
To make a monster, you will need:
- a cardboard tube
- acrylic paint and a paintbrush
- flexible adhesive rubber
- chenille stems (30 cm)
- assorted size googly eyes
- black satin cord
- white glue
- a stapler
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the cardboard roll with acrylic paint.
Step 2
Glue matching sized googly eyes to create a monster with a scary look.
Step 3
Cut out the monster's mouth from a colored adhesive rubber sheet.
To accentuate the monster's look, cut and stick 2 eyebrows above the eyes.
Step 4
Using a compass (or a pencil lead), make 2 small holes on the side of the roll so that you can insert the monster's arms.
Step 5
Cut a 30 cm chenille in half, then insert the two pieces into the holes. Form the monster's arms by bending the chenilles.
Step 6
Repeat the previous 2 steps on the opposite side of the roll to create the last 2 arms of the monster.
Step 7
In order to hang your little monster, staple a black satin cord to the inside of the cardboard roll.
