With these chenille-covered magnetic clothespins, you can easily attach notes and memos to the fridge! An original idea that will add a fun and practical decor to your kitchen!
Using a glue gun or strong adhesive, attach pom-poms to natural wooden clothespins... and add googly eyes to a larger pom-pom.
Then, stick neodymium magnets under the clothespin to transform it into a magnet for the refrigerator door...
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
Here is the list of materials needed to create a memory clothespin:
- A natural wooden clothespin (length 7 cm)
- Several pom poms of various sizes and matching colors
- 2 googly eyes
- 1 neodymium magnet
- Strong glue or glue gun
Etape 2.
Using a glue gun or strong glue, stick colorful pom-poms onto one side of the clothespin.
(The glue gun allows for a very quick bond.)
Here, we decided to place a larger pom-pom at the front to create the head of the caterpillar, and a smaller pom-pom at the back.
Etape 3.
Glue 2 googly eyes onto the largest pom-pom to create the head of the caterpillar.
Etape 4.
Glue a neodymium magnet on the back of the clip.
This way, you will transform this simple clip into a handy memo for everyday life.
Etape 5.
All you have to do is hang this little caterpillar on the fridge and then slip your notes into it so you never forget anything!
