How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a Christmas angel, you will need:
- a polystyrene cone with ball (height: 15 cm)
- a sheet of colored paper
- a pipe cleaner (length: 30 cm)
- 2 wiggle eyes Ø 1 cm
- fabric tape
- an adhesive bow tie
- a wooden heart or a star sticker
- 2 colored fabric flowers
- a pin back
- double-sided tape
- strong white glue in a tube
- a pair of scissors
- a black marker
Step 1
Fold a colored sheet in half and then draw a wing.
Step 2
Cut the sheet along your traced line and then unfold the wings.
Step 3
Attach the wings to the back of the polystyrene cone with double-sided foam tape.
Step 4
Glue a strip of colored adhesive fabric to the base of the cone.
Step 5
Paste a nice bow tie below the ball.
Step 6
Glue a small wooden heart with double-sided foam tape (ideal for giving a nice 3D effect).
You can also glue a star sticker instead of the heart!
Step 7
Cut a 30 cm caterpillar into 2 pieces and then plant them on each side of the cone to create the angel's arms.
Step 8
Plant 2 fabric flowers on a metal attachment for polystyrene.
Step 9
Plant the metal attachment at the top of the cone.
Step 10
Glue 2 moving eyes with a diameter of 1 cm and then draw a nice smile on the angel's face!
All that’s left for you to do is to attach a string to hang it on the Christmas tree or in your home!
