The clean paint activity is a sensory and creative activity specially designed for toddlers. Thanks to the principle of clean painting, children discover colors and mixing without getting messy, manipulating the paint through a transparent pouch. A playful and safe experience, ideal for their first artistic explorations.
Perfect for Mother's Day or Grandmother's Day, this activity allows for the creation of a lovely colored drawing to give as a gift. This activity inspired by Montessori pedagogy promotes sensory development, fine motor skills, and creativity, while remaining accessible to the youngest children.
The creations can then be personalized with a sweet message or the child's name, to create a unique and loving keepsake.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To create a neat painted heart, you will need:
- a heart template to print right here
- gouache
- a transparent folder
- a pair of scissors
- letter stickers
- a sturdy cardstock frame
- a glue stick
- a thick colored sheet
- a protection mat
Step 2:
On the largest heart, add the paint.
Tip: Do not apply too much paint to avoid tearing the paper when removing it from the sleeve.
Step 3:
Put the smallest hearts in the transparent pocket, then the largest heart that contains the paint.
Step 4:
Once the pouch is tightly closed, let the child explore the textures by mixing the colors with their fingers, hands, or even their feet!
Step 5:
Once the paint is well spread, take the hearts out of the pouch.
Tip: use scissors to cut the edges of the pouch to open it more easily and retrieve the hearts without tearing the paper.
Step 6:
Once the hearts are dry, glue the largest heart in the center of your sheet.
Step 7:
Add a sturdy cardboard frame above your sheet.
Step 8 :
Write the message of your choice with the letter stickers.<\/p>
Step 9 :
Finally, fill in the empty spaces with the smallest hearts.
