Discover an easy and fun Easter activity that involves turning wooden logs into colorful bunnies that children can hang on the Easter tree!
For this, we will simply use paint, some paper, and a few simple accessories (stickers, googly eyes...). A craft that can be done by children from the age of 3.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity you will need:
- wooden slices
- paint and a brush
- masking tape
- gemstone stickers
- 2.5 cm googly eyes
- fabric bows
- screw hooks
- cord
- small colored cards (A6)
- adhesive dots
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Stick a piece of masking tape in the center of the wooden log and then paint the lower part with acrylic paint.
The masking tape will create a nice delineation between the colored area and the other part of the log.
Step 2
Remove the masking tape and then let the paint dry for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Stick a gemstone sticker to create the rabbit's nose.
Step 4
Glue 2 googly eyes and a fabric bow tie using adhesive dots.
Step 5
Draw the rabbit's mouth, whiskers, and eyelashes with a black marker.
Step 6
Cut out 2 ears from a colored sturdy card and glue them with adhesive dots to the back of the log.
Step 7
Screw a hook into the edge of the log (between the 2 ears).
Step 8
Hang a piece of cord so you can hang your creation in the Easter tree.
