How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To carry out this activity, you will need:
- a cotton tote bag
- textile markers
- felt
- felt glue
- long pom-poms
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Place one or two sheets inside the tote bag to protect it from ink or glue seeping through the fabric.
Step 2
Write a custom message in the center of the bag with fabric markers.
Step 3
Cut out about 20 triangles from the felt sheets.
Step 4
Glue the felt triangles onto the tote bag with a special felt glue.
For effective adhesion, apply a generous layer of glue. White stains may be visible through the felt but will disappear as it dries.
Step 5
For even more color, hang long pom-poms on the bag handles!
Remove the paper protective sheet inside the bag and let it dry until the next day.
