Decorative Birdhouse with Wooden Sticks

To make a decorative birdhouse you need:

- 14 wooden sticks (length 9.3 cm; width: 1 cm)

- multi-surface acrylic paint

- a paintbrush

- a decorated wooden sparrow motif

- a self-adhesive acrylic mirror (diameter: 4 cm)

- rhinestones

- hot glue

- a frame hanger

Of the 14 sticks, paint 12 sticks in the colors of your choice:

- 9 sticks for the front of the birdhouse

- 2 sticks for the roof of the birdhouse

- 1 stick for the perch

Note that it is not necessary to paint both sides of the sticks.

Align the 9 sticks representing the front of the birdhouse with the colored side facing down. Give the whole structure an inverted V shape as shown in the accompanying photo.

Once the sticks are correctly positioned, glue 2 unpainted sticks across the width:

- The first will be glued about 2 cm from the bottom of the outermost sticks.

- The second will be glued at the top end of the outermost sticks.

Then let the glue dry for about 10 minutes.

The front of the birdhouse is now assembled!

Glue the perch on the facade at the same level as the stick attached to the back of the facade.

Glue 2 sticks that cross at the top of the front to form the roof of the birdhouse.

Choose a 4 cm diameter self-adhesive acrylic mirror and then stick it at the center of your creation.

Glue a small decorative wooden sparrow onto the perch of the birdhouse.

Glue a rhinestone at the intersection of the two sticks forming the roof of the birdhouse.

If you want to hang your birdhouse, stick a self-adhesive frame attachment to its back.
