Easter Chicks in Their Nest
Here's a fun and colorful Easter craft to do with the kids!
An easy creative activity combining cutting, gluing, and painting.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To create this Easter craft, you will need:
- a cardboard plate
- colored cardstock (300 g/m²)
- acrylic paint and a paintbrush
- colored feathers
- Easter egg stickers
- soft rubber adhesive letters
- googly eyes
- yellow crinkle grass
- strong white glue
- a stapler
- a pair of scissors
Etape 2.
Cut a white cardboard plate Ø 21 cm into 2 identical parts.
Etape 3.
Paint the "bumpy" surface of the half plates with acrylic paint and then let it dry for about 10 minutes.
Etape 4.
Place the two half-plates face to face and then join them by stapling the edge of the plates to create the shape of the nest.
Etape 5.
In 3 strong cards of different colors, cut out 3 shapes of varying sizes (approximately 10 to 14 cm) that will be used to make the chicks.
Etape 6.
For the chicks' beak, cut out 3 small triangles from a strong orange cardstock and glue them onto the paper shapes.
Then stick on some adhesive eyes to give the chicks a funny look.
Etape 7.
Glue colorful feathers behind each chick using strong white glue.
Etape 8.
Glue the chicks inside the nest using strong white glue, then decorate it with colorful stickers (adhesive letters, Easter eggs...).
Etape 9.
All that's left is to fill the nest with yellow paper grass and hang it on a wall using adhesive paste.
