How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Material
To carry out this activity you will need:
- a chick egg
- a wooden log (Ø 9 to 11 cm)
- a large wooden bead (Ø 4 cm)
- a small bouquet of artificial flowers
- 2 adhesive googly eyes
- a few colorful fabric flowers
- adhesive lace
- a pair of scissors
- wood glue
- adhesive dots
Step 1
Cut a piece of adhesive lace and stick it around the chick, just below the junction of the two parts.
Step 2
Stick on 2 googly eyes for a funny look and then attach a few flowers to the chick's head using adhesive dots.
Step 3
Glue the large wooden bead (hole facing up) to the edge of the log using wood glue.
Let the glue dry for about an hour before handling the base.
Step 4
Shorten the stem of a bouquet of flowers using a pair of scissors.
Step 5
Place the bouquet of flowers in the large wooden bead which will serve as a mini vase.
Step 6
Place the chick on the log (without gluing it) to finish the decoration.
Step 7
TIP: you can insert a Kinder Surprise or small chocolate eggs into the chick!
