A gentle Halloween craft for children where they will have fun making funny monsters!
These little monsters can be hidden around the house on Halloween night.
A decoration that is as monstrous as it is amusing for Halloween!
To create monsters of different sizes like in the photo, adjust the size of the cardboard and cup.
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make a monster you need:
- A ball of yarn
- Pipe cleaners
- A cardboard cup
- Pom-poms
- Moving eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- A piece of cardboard measuring 14 x 23 cm
- A glue gun
- A pair of scissors
Step 1:
Cut a piece of cardboard measuring 14 x 23 cm.
Step 2:
Wrap wool around the piece of cardboard.
For a nice chunky monster, feel free to wrap until you achieve about 1 cm thickness of wool around the cardboard.
Step 3:
Cut the wool at one end of the cardboard.
Step 4 :
Make a double knot with a wool thread at the other end.
Step 5:
Place a caterpillar on the double knot and tie another knot to secure it.
Step 6:
Flip the wool over and then use a glue gun to attach a cardboard cup in the center.
Step 7:
Turn the cup upside down and glue on some googly eyes with the glue gun.
1, 2, 3, 4... it's up to you to choose!
Step 8:
Wrap the two parts of the caterpillar, one by one around a pencil.
Step 9 :
And finally, glue a pom-pom to each end of the chenille.

Monstres
Super idée, très facile à réaliser ! Tellement que mon fils de 5 ans en a réalisé toute une famille. Nous avons même adapté la longueur des brins de laine pour faire des "petits" monstres. Extra pour halloween, nous en avons à chaque marche de l'escalier ! Merci pour l'idée
