How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To create a picture, you will need:
- a half-sphere made of polystyrene Ø 9.5 cm
- colorful clothespins
- wooden effect letter stickers
- a strong cardstock frame with a trompe l'oeil effect
- a white cardstock (A4 - 300 g/m²)
- two movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- solid gouache sticks (blue and yellow)
- white glue
- a pair of scissors
- a black permanent marker
Step 1:
To begin, create the background of the poster by coloring a sheet of thick white paper using a solid blue poster paint stick.
Step 2:
Next, color a half sphere made of polystyrene with a solid yellow gouache stick.
Step 3:
Using white glue, stick the half ball in the center of the blue background.
Step 4:
Glue colored clothespins all around the half-ball.
Step 5:
Now glue on two googly eyes and draw the mouth with a black permanent marker.
Step 6:
Using wood-effect letter stickers, create a short phrase evoking the sun or summer; here we wrote "Here comes summer".
Step 7:
Choose the frame of your choice and then glue it onto the white sheet using white glue.
