Create beautiful ice creams with the famous puffy paint recipe, an easy technique to make that will add a lot of volume and a fun texture.
To make puffy paint, you only need 3 ingredients: shaving foam, glue, and drawing ink, and... you're all set! This will keep the kids entertained for an entire afternoon !
A summer activity that the kids will LOVE to do with the family.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials:
To make an ice cream, you need:
- A piece of cardboard
- A sheet of thick colored paper
- Opaque round beads
- Star and heart stickers
- Shaving foam
- PVA glue
- Drawing ink + pipettes
- Brown acrylic paint
- A brush
- A foam brush
- Plastic cups
- A pair of scissors
Step 1:
Cut an isosceles triangle with 2 sides of 14 cm and a base of 9 cm from a piece of cardboard.
Step 2:
Using a flat-tipped foam brush, draw the diagonals of the ice cream cone.
Step 3:
Then glue the cardboard cone onto a sheet of thick colored paper with vinyl paint.
Step 4:
In a bowl, pour a small amount of PVA glue.
Step 5:
Add the same amount of shaving cream, no need to be very precise.
Step 6:
Then, using a dropper, add a few drops of drawing ink.
Step 7:
Mix with a brush to achieve a homogeneous color.
Step 8:
Using a brush, paint a shape of ice cream on top of the cone.
Tip: apply a generous amount of paint for a nice volume effect like Italian-style ice cream!
Step 9:
Then place colored round beads to represent chocolate chips.
Step 10 :
And finally, stick star & heart stickers all around the ice cream.
