We have prepared a wonderful creative activity to do this winter with the children!
Using a plastic globe, we will create a lovely snowman head that will illuminate once night falls thanks to a small LED candle.
During this craft, children will discover the collage varnish technique using tissue paper.
Activity to be carried out with the help of an adult.

How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
For this activity, you will need:
- a plastic globe
- a slice of wood
- white tissue paper
- glue and a brush
- a small woolen hat
- 2 googly eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- mega caterpillars
- rhinestone stickers
- snow effect paste
- a pair of scissors
- a glue gun
- an LED candle
Step 1
Cut about thirty small squares of white tissue paper (3 x 3 cm).
Step 2
Apply glue varnish over the entire surface of the globe with a brush, then stick the squares of tissue paper. Apply another layer of glue varnish over each glued paper square.
Once the surface is fully covered, let it dry for a few hours.
Step 3
Glue a small hat to the top of the globe with a glue gun.
Step 4
Glue 2 movable eyes Ø 2.5 cm and then cut a small piece of orange pipe cleaner to make the snowman’s nose.
Step 5
Stick on rhinestone stickers to create the mouth of the figure.
Step 6
Glue the globe in the center of a slice of wood.
Step 7
Decorate the wooden support with snow effect paste, then let it dry for a few hours.
Step 8
Glue a chenille around the lid to create the snowman's scarf.
Step 9
Place a LED candle inside the globe to light up your creation.
Step 10
To obtain a yellow light, use candles ref. 07139.
To achieve a nice white light, use candles ref. 44626
