How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Etape 1.
To create a name using a knitting spool, you need:
- a knitting spool
- a ball of yarn
- aluminum wire Ø 2 mm
- Hasulith glue
- a pair of scissors
Etape 2.
Make a long wool braid using the automatic knitting tool (instructions are included with the tool).
The length of the braid will depend on the number of letters in the first name; however, it is better to have a braid that is too long than too short.
Etape 3.
Once the braid is at the right length, gently thread an aluminum wire Ø 2 mm inside it.
Etape 4.
Then shape the braid to form the desired name or word.
Once your project is complete, trim the excess aluminum wire and tie a knot at the ends of the wool braid to secure the wire. It's also possible to reinforce the ends with a few drops of Hasulith glue.
