Make a Beautiful Jellyfish with a Cup and Crepe Paper
Here is a summer craft on the theme of the sea that children will love!
During this creative activity, children will learn to make beautiful colorful jellyfish using paper cups, paint, and crepe paper.
Easy and fun, this activity can be offered to children from the age of 3!
How to complete this tutorial step by step?
Materials
To make a pretty jellyfish, you need:
- a paper cup
- acrylic paint and a brush
- POSCA markers
- crepe paper rolls
- 2 moving eyes Ø 2.5 cm
- a fabric bow
- a pin attach
- gel adhesive dots (glue dots)
- a pair of scissors
Step 1
Paint the cardboard cup with acrylic paint and let it dry for about 15 minutes.
Step 2
Paste 2 moving eyes Ø 2.5 cm and a fabric bow using adhesive dots.
Étape 3
Using POSCA markers, draw a smile and 2 small cheeks on the cup to give your jellyfish an irresistible look.
Step 4
Attach a metal clip to the top of the cup so that you can hang your jellyfish once it is finished.
Step 5
Cut 6 strips of crepe paper approximately 20 cm long in the colors of your choice.
Step 6
Glue the 6 strips of crepe paper to the inside of the cup using adhesive dots (glue dots).
