Make a Penguin with a Water Bottle

To make a penguin, you will need:

- a plastic bottle (50 cl)

- black acrylic paint and a brush

- white stuffing cotton

- flexible rubber (black and yellow)

- felt (color of your choice)

- cotton string

- 2 movable eyes Ø 1 cm

- adhesive tape

- a pair of scissors

Paint 2/3 of the surface of a plastic water bottle with black acrylic paint.

The unpainted part will represent the penguin's white belly.

Once the paint is dry, fill the bottle with white stuffing cotton.

Cut out the 2 wings of the penguin from a sheet of soft black rubber.

Stick the 2 wings on each side of the bottle using double-sided tape.

Cut out the penguin's feet from a sheet of soft rubber and then stick them under the bottle using double-sided tape.

Cut a strip of felt and a strip of soft black rubber measuring 15 x 5 cm, then glue them together as shown in the adjacent photo using double-sided tape.

Wrap the rubber band / felt around the neck of the bottle and then secure it with double-sided tape.

Using double-sided tape (or strong glue), attach 2 mobile eyes Ø 1 cm as well as the penguin's beak that you will have previously cut out from a sheet of soft yellow rubber.

To shape the penguin's hat, wrap the felt using a string and then tie a double knot.
